CONSTITUENCY DEVELOPMENT FUND AMBULANCES HANDED OVER

Masaiti Town Council District Hospital last Friday, October 10, 2025 received its share of the ambulances that have been procured using the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

Delivering Government’s promise to the people of Masaiti, District Commissioner Mrs. Ennie Matutu outlined government’s agenda to better the lives of Zambian Citizens, especially the good people of Masaiti.

Meanwhile Council Chairperson Andrew Lumano with a clear gaze in the eyes of the District Health Director Dr. Lapa Puma called the state of the art Ambulances as moving hospitals that are vital for the well being of the people of Masaiti District.

The Area Member of Parliament Hon. Murebwa Jeffrey thanked the UPND Administration for all the positive strives made especially in regards with the administration of the CDF that has not left anyone behind.

Masaiti District is one amongst 156 Constituencies
that received ambulances.

Masaiti in this regard has received two (02) ambulances under the CDF funding at $79,000 per unit to carter for its 178,405 population as per 2022 census.

Masaiti people are in safe hands.

The ambulances are for Masaiti and Kafulafuta Constituencies but stationed at the only District Hospital located in Chankute area for emergency responses all over the district.
