Masaiti, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 hosted Her Excellency the British High Commissioner Ms. Rebecca Terzeon at a gathering which assembled at Masaiti District Skills Training Centre grounds.
Her Excellency the High Commissioner was in Masaiti District to appreciate social protection programmes rolled out in the district.
Ms. Rebecca Terzeon was particularly impressed with the way in which the Zambian government’s Cash for Work programme was being implemented and the impactful mark it is leaving on the community and individual beneficiaries.
Other programs that elated the High Commissioner include the Keeping Girls in Schools (KGS), Social Cash Transfer, Social Women’s League and other social groupings aimed at empowering it’s members and assist alleviate poverty and vulnerability standards at community level.
