Republican President Mr. Hakainde Hichilema on 10th May,2025 commissioned the Kafulafuta Dam constructed by China Complete National Engineering Company worth $449 Million in Mpongwe’s Ibenga area.
The project sits between Masaiti and Mpongwe and is poised to service and attend to the water blues in Masaiti, Mpongwe, Luanshya and Ndola Districts.
