2022 MASAITI DISTRICT CDF PROJECTS OFFICIALLY COMMISSIONED

Masaiti Town Council has officially handed over various 2022 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) completed projects in Kafulafuta Constituency.
The Handover was held yesterday, Saturday 17th February, 2024 and was conducted in two phases; with the first handover occurring at Kalamba Community School for the following projects:
1. Matipa Health Post in Miengwe Ward which was contracted at a total of K440,357.50
2. Kambowa Combined School in Chondwe Ward, contracted at K698,157.02
3. Chikoka Community School in Katonte Ward, contracted at K435,131.31
4. A 1X3 Classroom block at Chembo Primary School In Katonte Ward, contracted at K906,687.72
5. Bangwe Health Post in Chondwe Ward, contracted at K440,289.74
6. A 1X3 Classroom Block at Kambowa Combined School in Chondwe Ward, contracted at K698,157.02
7. A 1 X 2 Classroom Block at Kalamba Community School in Ishitwe Ward, contracted at K417,177.39
8. Supply of 75 desks at Kalamba Community School
The second phase of the Handover was conducted at Muwaya Staff House for the following projects:
1. An ablution block at Mapalo Health Post in Mapalo Ward, contracted at K199,570.35
2. Construction of Mapalo Health Post in Mapalo Ward at K199,570.35
3. An ablution block at Chiwala Primary School in Majaliwa Ward, contracted at K457,219.85
4. The completion of a staff house at Muwaya Primary School in Mwatishi Ward, contracted at 580,094.43.
The projects were commissioned by the Copperbelt Province Minister Honorable Elisha Matambo, who stated that he hopes the New Dawn Government’s facilitation of goods and services to help meet the needs of the people will foster economic growth at constituency level by alleviating poverty at the grassroots level.
Meanwhile, Chief Nkambo of the Lamba people on the Copperbelt applauded the New Dawn government for bringing development into his chiefdom, stating that no government has ever done what the Hakainde Hichilema-led administration has done in just two years.
